Pickups or drop offs for Airlie Beach will be at Coral Sea Marina. An additional fuel charge of $1600+ GST will be required.
Hayman Island Transfers and Charters
Transfers from Hamilton Island to Hayman Island Marina or collections from Hayman Island will require a fuel relocation fee of $1600+GST.
Daydream Island Transfers and Charters
Transfers from Hamilton Island to Daydream Island Marina or collections from Daydream Island will require a fuel relocation fee of $1000+GST.

How many guests can La Mar accomodate?
For day charters, La Mar accommodates up to 12 guests. For liveaboard charters, La Mar accommodates up to 6 guests.
Where can we embark from?
La Mar is berthed year round at beautiful Hamilton Island. Your crew will collect you from Berth A6, opposite Marina Cafe, for outings departing from Hamilton Island. Pick up from Airlie Beach is also available from Coral Sea Marina at Abel Point.
This incurs an additional surcharge to cover fuel for the relocation. We also offer transfers to and from Hayman Island and Hamilton Island Airport, as well as day or overnight charters departing from Hayman Island. An additional surcharge applies to cover the extra fuel.
Is La Mar family friendly?
Absolutely. We welcome guests of all ages onboard and La Mar is a perfect fit for a family trip. For very young children or babies, we can open one of the bedrooms for nap breaks away from the other activities. We do not provide travel cots onboard, but you are welcome to bring one with you.
We also recommend bringing your own PFD for children under 6 years of age to ensure the correct fit and proper protection.
Can we customise the itinerary?
Yes. Working with our bookings concierge, you will be able to craft your perfect day or trip. We strive to provide unique experiences for each of our valued guests. A private luxury charter is a flexible way to enjoy the Whitsundays, with your itinerary built around you. As long as the weather permits, we’re ready to go.
What locations do you offer?
With approximately 15 islands and 50 bays, inlets, and beaches within easy reach, we can create a totally bespoke itinerary for you and your guests. Some of the most popular locations include Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet, Chalkies Beach, Chance Bay, Turtle Bay, Black Island, Stonehaven, Langford Island, and Nara Inlet.
Each one has its own unique appeal and offers a fantastic alternative if the weather prevents access to Whitehaven Beach.
Do you provide Wi Fi?
La Mar is equipped with Starlink so you can keep your devices connected and upload all the amazing photos you’ll be capturing.
How many locations can we visit?
For full day charters of 6 hours, we suggest visiting 1 to 2 locations, depending on how long you wish to spend in each place.
For half day charters of 4 hours, we recommend 1 location to help you make the most of your time. Our bookings team will help guide you based on your preferences.
Can we bring our own beverages & catering onboard?
Yes, you can. We provide a small welcome cheese or fruit platter, along with soft drinks, tea, and coffee throughout your charter. For alcoholic beverages and mixers or cocktails, we are a Bring Your Own, BYO, vessel. You can bring them with you in the morning, or place an order with the Hamilton Island Bottle O for our crew to collect on your behalf. Everything will be chilled and ready to serve when you board.
You are also welcome to bring your own catering onboard. We have plenty of fridge, freezer, and pantry space for all your favourite foods. We also offer a menu of catering options. To elevate your experience even further, we can also assist with arranging a private chef.

We are surveyed by AMSA and maintain exceptional standards in accordance with maritime law. Before departure, your Captain will begin with a safety briefing covering all lifesaving and safety equipment onboard.
